Writer’s Retreat at Interlochen

June 2023

Sharon enjoyed attending the Interlochen College of Creative Arts’ Writers Retreat where she spent her days writing new material, attending presentations by award-winning faculty, and enjoying lakeside lunches and evening readings.

Sharon was a featured reader on opening night along with three other chapbook winners, recipients of the 2023 Michigan Writers Chapbook Prize.

Nestled deep in the woods between two lakes, this location was a delightful place to make friends and connections in the literary world.

The book sales table at Interlochen was the center of inspired conversation and connection.
